I wish I knew the exact date of these releasing. Just found out they’ve been released already. I found a website that’s selling the brown one’s which I brought today. Here’s the link
2011 Nike Air Mag “Marty McFly”
•1500 pairs of the Nike Air Mag will be auctioned off for charity via ebay
•150 pairs will be auctioned off a day for 10 days
•Auctions start tonight at and ends on September 18 at 8:30PM PST
•Auctions will be hosted at www.nikemag.ebay.com (Not active, yet)
•All proceeds go to Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is focused on finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease
“The 2011 Nike Air Mag is said to be Nike’s first rechargeable sneaker and is designed as an exact replica of the pair Marty wore in Back to the Future II. However, the shoes will not tie themselves like in the movie. That version is still slated for 2015. The shoes feature a bright LED panel and electroluminescent Nike branding. Slight changes, such as additional foam in the ankle and forefoot, have been put into place to improve comfort. One charge will keep the Air Mag lit for 5 hours.”
